AI apps (MCP)
Use ReviewWidget from Claude, ChatGPT and your AI tools
Ask your AI app about your reviews, widgets and guest texts, and let it make changes for you.
https://googlereviews.innerpi.com/api/mcpWhen you connect, a ReviewWidget window asks you to sign in and click Allow.
Connect your AI app
Open Claude.ai and go to Settings, then Connectors.
Click "Add custom connector". Name it ReviewWidget and paste this address.
https://googlereviews.innerpi.com/api/mcpClick Add, then Connect. A ReviewWidget window opens. Sign in if it asks, then click Allow.
In a chat, turn on ReviewWidget in the tools menu and ask a question.
Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan. Check what your plan includes in Claude settings before you start.
Open ChatGPT and go to Settings, then Apps and Connectors.
Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
Fill in the form for a new app: name it ReviewWidget, paste this address and choose OAuth for sign-in.
https://googlereviews.innerpi.com/api/mcpClick Create. A ReviewWidget window opens. Sign in if it asks, then click Allow.
Developer mode depends on your ChatGPT plan, and on some plans only an admin can turn it on. Check yours before you start.
Run this command in your terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http reviewwidget https://googlereviews.innerpi.com/api/mcpStart Claude Code and type /mcp. Pick reviewwidget and choose to sign in.
Your browser opens. A ReviewWidget window opens. Sign in if it asks, then click Allow.
Optional: instead of the command above, install the ReviewWidget plugin inside Claude Code. It adds the same server plus a skill that picks a layout, creates the widget and installs it on your site. The plugin is in a private GitHub repository, so it only installs for people with access to innerpi/ReviewWidget.
/plugin marketplace add innerpi/ReviewWidget /plugin install reviewwidget@reviewwidget
Works on every plan that includes Claude Code.
Open Cursor Settings, then MCP, and click "Add new global MCP server". This opens your mcp.json file.
Add ReviewWidget to the file and save it.
{ "mcpServers": { "reviewwidget": { "url": "https://googlereviews.innerpi.com/api/mcp" } } }Cursor lists ReviewWidget with a Login button. Click it. A ReviewWidget window opens. Sign in if it asks, then click Allow.
Your Cursor plan or team settings can limit MCP servers. Check with your admin if the MCP settings are missing.
In your project, create the file .vscode/mcp.json with this content.
{ "servers": { "reviewwidget": { "type": "http", "url": "https://googlereviews.innerpi.com/api/mcp" } } }Open the file and click Start above the reviewwidget entry. VS Code asks to sign in. Click Allow.
A ReviewWidget window opens. Sign in if it asks, then click Allow. Then open Copilot Chat in Agent mode and ask a question.
Needs GitHub Copilot in VS Code. Your organization can turn off MCP servers, so check with your admin if they do not show.
Things to try
Reviews
Summarize what customers said this month across all my locations. What do they complain about most?
Which location has the lowest rating, and what changed in the last 90 days?
Hide the reviews that are clearly spam and show me what you hid.
List my hidden reviews and tell me which ones look like real customers.
Widgets and your website
Create a dark carousel widget that shows only reviews with photos, and give me the embed code.
Turn on a 'recent review' popup on my Shopify site.
Which of my widgets haven't been seen on a website yet?
Which pages on my site showed the most social proof popups in the last 30 days?
Guest texts
How did my last SMS event do? How many people opened it and left feedback?
Set up a draft SMS event for Saturday's wedding with this guest list. It stays a draft until I send it from the dashboard.

Questions
- Do I need a ReviewWidget account?
- Yes. The AI app signs in as you, so it needs your ReviewWidget account. Sign-up is by waiting list right now. Join it at googlereviews.innerpi.com/waitlist.
- Which plans can use it?
- Every ReviewWidget account can connect AI apps. Your AI app may need a paid plan for custom connectors. The steps for each app above say what to check.
- Why did the popup say "access denied"?
- The sign-in did not finish. You may have clicked Don’t allow, your account may not be approved yet, or the app sent a request we could not accept. Close the window and connect again. If it keeps happening, sign in to the dashboard first and then connect.
- How do I disconnect an AI app?
- Go to Settings in the dashboard and find Connected AI apps. Click Disconnect next to the app. It loses access right away. Signing out or changing your password disconnects every AI app.
